About the Project


Galebreaker fabric Windshields are installed on numerous North Sea installations.

The Fabric Wind Shields were attached to the rear of the Navigation Aid Solar panel skids for protection against high winds acting on the rear of the structure.

Key features of Galebreaker fabric windshield:

  • Temperature range -30 °C to +70 °C (-22 °F to +158 °F)
  • Wind load design up to 120 mph (53 m/s, 104 knots)
  • 75 % Wind speed reduction
  • Total weight 1.25 kg/m² (0.256 lb/ft²)
  • Fixes to your existing structure – no drilling or welding required
  • High UV and abrasion resistance

About the Project


Galebreaker fabric heatshields installed on the Apexindo Tasha drilling rig.

The Fabric Heatshields were installed along the front of the access ladder platforms and around the access ladders from the Monkey Board up to the Crown Block.
